Modular house on a small plot in the center of Madrid

This home was designed on a small plot that was quite long but with a very good location, right in the center and in the quiet Montecarmelo neighborhood, near the Moncloa and El Pardo area in Madrid capital.

Our clients D and S needed a new house and they did the math, their option was either to buy a house built at the prices of the center in Madrid or to embark on the adventure of self-promotion, saving almost 35% of the final price and buy a plot, building a house to your liking for much less money. D and S were clear, they loved the area and they contacted MODULAR HOME so we could take care of everything. The project was designed together with CODA Arquitectura and the result fit the way of life they wanted: »Living in Madrid, enjoying a garden and individual house with cost control and a home that would reduce the consumption they had in their old house»

With a living area of ​​215 m2 distributed over two floors, this modular concrete house not only provides a safe and comfortable home, but also stands out for its contemporary and functional design. 

In addition, this prefabricated modular house was designed to take advantage of every square centimeter and also to offer the best in energy efficiency, spaciousness and reduction of costs and deadlines.

 The installation of an aerothermal system with underfloor heating was vital to contribute to the Energy Efficiency of the home added to the cross ventilation and the distribution of spaces itself, a bobbin lace at the height of the project.
