Rustic style home in Fiscal, Huesca

Sometimes when you go on a summer vacation to a place where you are, you want to stay forever and that is what happened to José María. He fell in love with Fiscal, Huesca, a magical town located in the Aragonese Pyrenees.

His idea was to have a place to rest as a second residence, taking into account that retirement would soon arrive and he would have more free time to enjoy a typical house in the area.
José María, an economist by profession, had one thing very clear, he did not want the numbers to escape him and he had one goal, to have a large house with a fixed cost.

Local stone on the facade of a rustic-style home

Once the formula with Modular Home has been chosen, we face a urban planning regulations that protect the aesthetics of the facades with that native stone.  
The tradition and regulations of the place only allow local stonecutters or stonemasons to place this stone. A profession in disuse, very artisanal and that continues today thanks to the protection in the urban planning regulations of Fiscal, Huesca.

Modular Home usually places the stone in the manufacturing mold, but on this occasion it was not possible and we could not put the project at risk. So as soon as we assembled the smooth concrete panels, the stonecutters began placing the stone on the facade.
As an anecdote, Modular Home finished the house in a few months, although the craftsmanship on the façade had not yet been completed, because it involved placing stone by stone. The result is a jewel executed in the middle of winter, to be enjoyed that summer.
