Prefabricated house with basement and pool

This custom prefabricated house is an example of the enthusiasm and desire of a family to form a home in the city of Sant Cugat del Vallés a few km from Barcelona capital.

They needed a good location with respect to the children's schools and work, so M & JM decided to purchase a plot in Sant Cugat and hired us to design and build this magnificent home.

The house whose project was designed by the Maralb Studio is distributed over two floors + a 36,50m2 basement area built for the location of facilities. The starting point of the project was comfort and modern aesthetics, within the needs of a family of 4 members who like to enjoy their time outdoors. A two-story house was proposed to separate the day and night areas, maintaining a bedroom on the ground floor, next to 18 m2 kitchen and Big room of 44,50 m2 connected by a large window to the dining area. porch and swimming pool. The upper floor is accessed by flying concrete stairs with railing of glass that function as an iconic element and distribute the bedroom principal with dressing room and bathroom, two secondary bedrooms with shared bathroom and multipurpose room with storage area.

Energy Efficiency: Sustainability of housing

In addition to the speed in the construction of our prefabricated system, M&JM's choice of MODULAR HOME was the proven efficiency. The idea of reducing expenses on energy bills largely led them to opt for an efficient and sustainable system, where with part of that savings they would pay for the house more comfortably.

The air conditioning system chosen was aerothermal with installation of refreshing underfloor heating, where the expense is 3 times lower than other air conditioning systems.

The commitment to the environment and cost reduction helped them choose us. We wish them well.
