The space called «Pool Suite» It is much more than an exhibition of architecture and interior design; It is the fusion between historical heritage and contemporary innovation. And in every corner, you can feel the influence of the past and at the same time innovation, creating a unique experience that captivates the senses and awakens the imagination.
It is an elegant timeless space, which aims to seek its identity in the fusion of modern modular architecture and respect for the beauty of the Trinity Palace. Once visited, indifference is not an option and without a doubt, it is the perfect conjunction between architectural vision and design in historical environments 100 years apart.
Thanks to the great decision of Casa Decor 2024, we can enjoy an exceptional staging in this 59th edition. The Palacio de la Trinidad, located on Francisco Silvela Street, in Madrid, is a historical gem Built on a 3.600m² plot. Property and request of Dª María de los Ángeles Gutiérrez Suárez in 1929 to the architect Luis Alemany Soler, who knew how to reflect his regionalist style with great Andalusian influences on lush gardens.
At the heart of Casa Decor 2024, The story of "Pool Suite" is intertwined with the essence of the iconic German Pavilion and the construction of the Trinity Palace in 1929.
The pavilion, designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, was the representative building of Germany at the Barcelona International Exhibition held in 1929. Conceived as a representative space to house the German authorities, it was intended to symbolize the progressive and democratic character behind the First World War.
The German Pavilion personified modernity through its rigorous geometric shapes, the precision of each element and the impeccable clarity of its assembly. These characteristics are the soul of Modular Home, and it should be this project that took us to Casa Decor for the first time.
And for this reason, the objective of "Pool Suite", designed by Cargo Interiores, is to create a architectural dialogue captivating that celebrates the rich history of Palacio de la Trinidad while introducing the innovative technology of our mobile modules. This fusion between the historic and the contemporary gives rise to a unique architectural tension, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the evolution of design and construction.
