STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Job Description

Engineer specializing in the calculation, dimensioning and verification of concrete, steel and wood structures for building and prefabricated systems, using structural calculation tools (CYPE and finite element software), guaranteeing regulatory compliance, technical feasibility and optimization of construction solutions.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Perform the calculation and dimensioning of reinforced concrete, steel and wood structures.
  • Development of structural models using CYPE and finite element analysis programs.
  • Analysis of loads, combinations and limit states according to current regulations.
  • Design and optimization of structural solutions for prefabricated systems.
  • Preparation of calculation reports, technical reports and supporting documentation.
  • Definition of sections, reinforcements, joints and construction details.
  • Coordination with BIM teams, architecture, manufacturing and construction.
    Technical review of structural plans and parts lists.
  • Technical support during the project, manufacturing and assembly phases.
  • Evaluation of structural alternatives aimed at optimization
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.

  • Demonstrable experience in concrete, steel and wood structures.
  • Advanced handling of CYPE (CYPECAD, CYPE 3D, structural modules) and finite element analysis software.
  • Knowledge of current structural regulations (CTE, Eurocodes or other applicable regulations).
  • Experience in prefabricated or industrialized construction projects (valued).
  • Basic knowledge of BIM and model reading.
  • Proficiency in Office tools.
  • Availability to make occasional trips to the facilities in Cáceres.

SITE MANAGER IN MADRID

  • More than 5 years of experience as a construction manager with high quality projects.
  • Resident in the Community of Madrid and availability to travel to carry out works in the region and surrounding areas.
  • Availability of immediate incorporation.
  • Social skills to interact with interest groups, manage teams, resolve conflicts and coordinate work on site.
  • Knowledge in masonry, plumbing, electricity and construction installations.
  • Recommended: Office 365 user level.

The main functions of the position will be:

  • Ensure compliance with ORP regulations on site.
  • Comply with and enforce MH guidelines regarding prevention and quality.
  • Enforce the assignments of the work team coordinator.
  • Generate monthly report of activities and resources used.

  • Knowledge of waste management and the manual of good environmental practices.
