The award recognizes the Modular Home model, based on industrialized construction and modular housing, with special focus on process optimization, system scalability, and improved development efficiency of residential projects, including high-rise buildings.
In this edition, the Salamanca-based company Tebrio Group was awarded the main prize, while Modular Home was selected as one of the finalist companies in the innovation and technology category, in recognition of its contribution to the development of new production models in the construction sector.
The challenge of access to housing in Spain
Access to housing has become one of the main social and economic challenges in Spain. The sustained increase in purchase and rental prices, coupled with a limited supply of affordable housing, has created a tense situation in the residential market. Added to this is the need to accelerate housing production without compromising on quality, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
This context demands new approaches to the traditional building model, capable of offering greater certainty in deadlines, cost control and efficiency in the execution of projects.
Technology and industrialization as levers of change
The Modular Home model relies on the integration of advanced technology throughout the entire value chain, from design and engineering to manufacturing and on-site assembly. This approach allows greater standardization of processes, more precise quality control and a significant reduction in execution times compared to conventional construction systems.
Industrialized modular housing is thus presented as a structural response to the current challenges of the residential market, by allowing for more efficient, adaptable production aligned with the sustainability criteria demanded by the current context.
The recognition received at the 2025 SME Awards This reinforces Modular Home's position as one of the emerging players in the transformation of the building sector in Spain, especially with regard to the application of technology and innovation in traditionally less industrialized production environments.
Institutional support for the development model
Being a finalist for the Innovation and Technology Award represents institutional support for Modular Home's business model and its growth strategy based on the digitalization of processes, the industrialization of construction, and the continuous improvement of quality and energy efficiency standards.
The company understands innovation as a cross-cutting theme in its operations, aimed at generating a real impact on how residential projects are conceived, developed, and executed. This vision allows it to move towards a more competitive model, aligned with market needs and the structural challenges of access to housing.
A vision for the future of the residential sector
The construction sector is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by industrialization, digitalization, and the transition to more sustainable models. In this context, modular solutions are becoming an increasingly relevant alternative for meeting housing demand, improving resource efficiency, and shortening construction times.
Modular Home remains committed to developing a residential model that combines contemporary architecture, applied technology, and social impact. The recognition received at the 2025 SME Awards reinforces this roadmap and the company's commitment to actively contributing to the evolution of the sector and the search for real solutions for access to housing in Spain.
